Next week I will be going to Ketchikan to have my arm looked at by the orthopaedic surgeon. When he was here last time he commented that it didn't look like my shoulder was healing properly and wanted to see me in 1 month - that was 2 months ago. Unfortunatley there are no plans for him to come to Wrangell any time soon. They need at least 12 people on the list to see him before he schedules a time to come. So with some advice from my Physical Therapist, I will be leaving next Wednesday on the ferry at 11am and traveling all day. Thursday I will be seeing the doctor and then catching the ferry later that night and getting home around 10:30 or so at night.  Wow only a 36 hour trip to see the doctor!! Sure beats driving around the parking lot for 2 minutes to find a place to park doesn't it? Or does it?

The Monday night teen meetings have been going good. We had 6 the first night and 4 this week. We are encouraging the kids to spend time reading their Bible every day, and hoping they will bring more friends not only to the teen night, but also Church on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Jim took us out on his boat Thursday and Friday as they went to put out their skate line to catch fish. Friday when he pulled it back in, we saw the white on the 3rd hook and thought YEAH Halibut. It was however a shark. So 14 shark, 5 Skate (like a stingray without the stinger), 2 sea stars, and 3 halibut later, we were done. Out of all that, the 3 halibut were all that we could keep to eat. We are quite thankful for the halibut we have been catching they will keep our food costs down. The other day Jim had caught 5 crabs and invited us over for crab legs. I was joking with him that since bologna costs almost $4.00 it was too expensive so we had to suffer to a meal of crab legs and halibut. Yep that was too bad too. Jody and Kristi will be going to Metlakatla next week so they can meet the people and check out the area.  Please pray for them as they travel and for Jonathan as he has to eat my cooking instead of going to McDonalds in Ketchikan. HA HA
